How do I add a favicon to my site?

Want to know how your site can have a custom favicon (favorites icon)?  Follow these steps:
  1. Convert the image you would like to use to a .ico file. There are many free programs online that will do this, try Iconifier or do a web search for "favicon generator" or "favicon creator". Do not simply rename a jpg, gif, or png file because it won't work in most browsers.
  2. Make sure the .ico file is named "favicon.ico".
  3. Upload the favicon.ico file to the main directory (not in a folder) of your My Files area.
That's it, the system does the rest!

Note: It can take a few hours for the favicon to begin appearing.  Also, some browsers do not support this function.  Additionally, you can only have one favicon per site due to the way the system uses the main directory of the My Files area and each site only has access to one My Files area.
