Can I access my email securely through an SSL encrypted connection?
Yes.
While most email users will not need to access email through an encrypted connection all the time, it is possible to do so with our email accounts. When accessing your mail at webmail.websrvcs.com, the connection is automatically made securely. However, you can use the following guidelines to set up your mail client (e.g. Outlook, Mac Mail, Entourage, etc.) to access your email securely:
- Use webmail.websrvcs.com as the incoming and outgoing server name.
- Check the box(es) that say "Use SSL (or encrypted) Connection".
- Enter port number 995 for incoming and 465 or 587 for outgoing.
